Why Other People See Your Million Dollar Ideas First
One of my good friends in the remote sales space sent me a message this week.
She was asking about how I, along with a select few others always seem to be coming up with new ideas.
Ideas that fill a very real gap in the market.
She said that she always seems to give other people good ideas as well, but just can't manage to come up with those for herself.
I'll go through what I shared with her.
When most people try and come up with new ideas, they will sit there and just try to think.
Think of anything they can.
But the problem with that, you're creating a vacuum where nothing else is coming in.
Most brilliant ideas don't come from intentionally thinking them up.
They come from being in the real world, seeing problems and wondering if there are solutions.
Even more so than that, they come from talking to people about your area of expertise.
Things that you do without even thinking, the same things that other people struggle with.
A real world example.
When I put together my interview course, I didn't do it to make money.
I had always been good at interviews because I didn't treat them like interviews.
I just connected and asked questions.
Then when I came into the high ticket space, I was sick of being lied to by offer owners.
Fake numbers.
Bogus OTEs.
So I developed a system to screen them.
I showed a few friends after doing it for a couple of years, and they went nuts over it.
I knew the market needed it, so I put a course together and made it so cheap that everyone can buy it.
Then everyone was acing interviews, but the messages I got non stop - "how do I find good offers though?"
Well, I had a system for that too.
I shared with a few people.
They were inundated with offers.
So I made a course.
Again, people absolutely loved it.
And now the AI courses.
I didn't plan on this, but I went deep into AI for some time, used it for just about everything, and when I showed a few other sales pros what I do, they started making more money using what I taught them.
I also believe to my core that if you don't know how to use it, you will be left behind.
That's a huge driver for me.
The key to all of this.
I didn't think up an idea to make money.
I don't care about the money.
I am solving real problems by being in the real world, not by forcing them.
And going back to what my friend said to me.
She gives other people good ideas that get monetized, why can't she?
Because, she needs people like herself around her.
Other people to give her feedback and suggestions.
Refine the information.
Test it.
And then release it.
And if it doesn't hit a home run, that's okay.
You will get so much data for the next thing.
Everyone I know that has a banger of a course, offer, business or product has a trail behind them of attempts that bombed.
And a mountain of ideas that they came across and haven't yet pursued.
So if you're in the position where you want more.
It could be that you want more income streams.
Or just more of a challenge.
Just know, you rarely get the ideas by sitting down with a pen and paper.
You get them by keeping your eyes open, talking to people and monitoring what you do on a daily basis.
